In 2016, the ships operated by V.F. Tanker (part of UCL Holding) have carried 3.5 mln tons of cargo. During the accounting period the average shipping distance was reduced, which resulted in retention of the company’s cargo turnover at the level of 2015 amounting to 4.5 bln t/km.
Yearly throughput of JSC «Container terminal Saint-Petersburg» hit a record high of 557 800 TEU in 2016 (40% increase versus 2015).
During the year of 2016 the volume of shipments undertaken by vessels of North-Western Shipping Company equaled to 5.7 million tons, which is 18% higher than the volume during the corresponding period last year.
In the year of 2016 the volume of grain cargo shipping under the contracts of North-Western Shipping Company with subsequent transfer to marine vessels (lightering) equaled to 1.12 million tons which exceeded the corresponding result in 2015 by 35%.
In 2015 the turnover of “Universal Forwarder” amounted to 16 mln tons which is by 6% more than in 2014. Total volumes increased mainly due to the growth of main cargoes of the company.
In 2015 JSC “Container terminal Saint-Petersburg” (CTSP) handled 398 k TEU, 2,7% more than in 2014. It is the best result ever achieved by CTSP.
UCL Port division’s cargo turnover increased by 9% to 33.2 million tons in the twelve months of 2015
In January-December 2015, the companies of the stevedoring division of UCL Port (part of UCL Holding) handled 33.2 million tons of cargo, which is a 9% increase as compared to 2014.
Within 12 months of 2015 LLC “Multipurpose Reloading Complex” (MRC) in port of Ust-Luga (Leningrad region) handled 4.2 mln tons of cargoes which is by 6% more than during previous year.
In 2015 the turnover of OJSC “Sea Port of Saint-Petersburg” (SP SPb) amounted to 7.9 mln tons which is by 2.9% less than in 2014.
In the year of 2015 the volume of shipments undertaken by the North-Western Shipping Company (NWSC) equaled to 4.8 million tons, which is 14% lower than the corresponding volume last year. The main cause of the reduction is connected with low level of water at the Russian waterways and economic environment in general.
